Work History

Scot began his legal career as a law clerk for an insurance defense firm in Colorado Springs, Colorado while in law school. After graduating, he continued to work in litigation in Colorado Springs, primarily representing medical professionals and construction contractors. This early phase of his legal career allowed Scot to gain valuable experience in trials in Colorado district and courts, including a first chair trial in El Paso County District Court. Scot then returned to Denver, Colorado to exclusively represent medical professionals and then formed a small boutique firm to represent construction contractors, businesses, and individuals.

Since joining Lasater & Martin in 2010, Scot has focused his practice on representing individuals, businesses, and construction contractors in a variety of litigation matters.
