Katie Spring

Katie Spring is an experienced trial attorney who represents clients throughout the state of Texas during all phases of litigation, including investigation, discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial. By thoroughly and creatively evaluating the case in its early stages, Katie is able to recommend the best course of action to lead to a winning outcome, be it a dismissal, settlement, or trial. Katie prides herself on a close relationship with her clients, the foundation of which is always good and frequent communication. If a vigorous defense at trial is the best course of action, Katie is an aggressive and persuasive advocate on behalf of her clients.

Work History

Following law school, Katie began working as an associate in the Complex Commercial Litigation section of a large Dallas law firm, where she assisted large corporate clients in both state and federal litigation involving multi-million dollar contract disputes, fraud claims, construction defects, consumer finance, employment contracts, products liability, debt collection, suits on account, and deceptive trade practices.

After moving to Colorado in 2012, Katie worked at the Denver City Attorney’s Office with Assistant City Attorneys on federal litigation matters involving municipal liability claims and alleged civil rights violations by law enforcement.

Katie joined Lasater & Martin in 2015, where she handled cases in both Colorado and Texas involving personal injury claims, including wrongful death claims, catastrophic motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and industrial accidents, as well as construction defect cases.
