Thomas S. Howery

Thomas S. Howery, an associate at Lasater & Martin, P.C., has over a decade of courtroom experience, which he uses in his representation of clients throughout the State of Texas. Attracted by Lasater & Martin P.C.’s reputation of pre-trial excellence and skillful zealous advocacy in the courtroom, Thomas Howery is excited and grateful to be a member of the team. To meet the high bar set by the firm, Thomas manages his personal injury, premises liability, and construction defect cases by preparing for trial on day one. Si vis pacem, para bellum. Often, this early preparation can lead to an early and economic end to the litigation.

A proud alumnus of Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law, he obtained his Juris Doctor in 2011 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2007.

His dedication to the legal profession extends beyond his work. From 2017 through 2022, he served as a panel member on District 6-2 and 6-4 Grievance Committees of the State Bar of Texas. He was honored to be selected as the Panel Chair for the 6-4 Grievance Committee from 2020 to 2022.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 17 years, their two daughters, and their border collie. His hobbies include full-stack web development and reading fiction and non-fiction.
