Andres M. Hermosillo

Andres M. Hermosillo was licensed in 2012 and worked as an in-house trial attorney for a Texas based insurance company when he joined Lasater & Martin’s tort defense team.

Andres has years of insurance defense litigation experience, including personal injury, automobile, workers’ compensation, employment, subrogation, and other general liability matters.

In addition to handling hundreds of workers’ compensation cases and taking over 30 cases to judgment, Andres has also taken numerous jury trials to verdict in Colorado and has achieved outstanding outcomes, consistent with the objectives of Lasater & Martin. During one stretch of trials, Andres obtained four defense verdicts in the span of four months.

Andres has taken and defended hundreds of depositions, conducted more than one hundred mediations, and has successfully argued a variety of dispositive and summary judgment motions.

In addition to insurance defense, Andres has multiple years of legal experience in handling criminal law, family law, landlord/tenant, estate planning, EEOC, and governmental compliance cases. Prior to practicing as an attorney, Andres worked for the State of California’s Treasurer’s Office as a financial risk analyst. This experience of analyzing and mitigating financial risk has proved invaluable in obtaining favorable settlements and judgments as a trial attorney.

Since joining Lasater & Martin, Andres has handled matters in the areas of construction defect, personal injury, and other general liability issues.
